Philanthropic Leadership

Building on the legacy of our predecessors, the Sangamon County Community Foundation will assume a visible leadership role in the community. SCCF will become a resource for a wide array of charitable organizations and donors alike. Our vision is to support existing efforts while creating new philanthropy in our community.

For nearly 80 years, the Foundation has supported non-profit organizations addressing important issues including: hunger, childcare, social service, the environment, the arts, education, and more. We welcome collaboration with other groups in the community and expect many groups to look to us for funding and leadership.

SCCF understands the needs of others and the possibilities of what can be achieved when great ideas are brought together. We will endeavor to constantly educate both the community and ourselves about the pressing issues of those in need. It is no meager effort to help wherever possible and we welcome the responsibility of that task.
